Can I use the space if I'm not a member?

No, but you can visit us on one of our open days. 

Will you fire my work for me if I'm not a member?

No. We do not offer firing services for non-members.

Can children come?

No. Our space is adults only, you must be over 18 to become a member of the Association, please see our classes & workshops page for other local clay workshops and classes.

What temperatures does the studio fire to?

Bisque 1000'C and Midfire 1200'C

How much does membership cost?

Membership is $60.00 for the year ($40 concession), members pay additional costs for members sessions, workshops and  and firings. Please see our membership page for more information in becoming a member.

Where can I read your constitution?

We are a non for profit Incorporated Association read our constitution here. 

Where can I park?

During the week before 6:30 pm please park on the street as the parking in the back is reserved for the nearby daycare centre. 

From 6.30pm onwards and on weekends, parking is available for the Illawarra Potters in the back.

Can I leave my tools and clay at the studio?

No. Please take your tools, clay and other belongings home with you after your visit. There is limited space for drying pieces for up to 2 weeks in the Studio, after a few weeks if the pieces have not been claimed they will be recycled. Dry work waiting to be fired should be left on the appropriate firing shelves and not the drying shelves.
